This Privacy Policy explains what information Shouhnaty collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to shouhnaty.ma and its related supplier and administrative portals.
Account information: name, email, password (stored encrypted), and, for Suppliers, company details, business documents, and payout bank details.
Communications: messages sent through the Platform's chat, including any files or images attached, and quote requests.
Transaction information: order details, status updates, invoices, disputes, and reviews.
Usage data: pages visited and general location (country/city) derived from your IP address, used in aggregate for analytics.
We use this information to operate the marketplace (connecting Importers and Suppliers, processing quotes and orders), verify Supplier businesses, detect and prevent attempts to share contact information in chat, provide customer support, resolve disputes, and improve the Platform.
A Supplier's company profile, gig listings, and aggregate review score are publicly visible by design. Chat messages are only visible to the two participants and, where necessary, Shouhnaty staff for dispute resolution or trust & safety review. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Supplier bank account details submitted for payout purposes are used solely to process payments owed to that Supplier and are visible only to platform administrators.
We use industry-standard measures, including encrypted connections (SSL) and hashed passwords, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain account and transaction information for as long as your account is active and as needed to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. Some information may be retained where required by law or legitimate business need (e.g., transaction records for completed orders).
Because Shouhnaty connects users across Morocco, the UAE, China, and Turkey, your information may be processed in a country other than your own. We take reasonable steps to protect information regardless of where it is processed.
We use essential cookies/session storage to keep you logged in and remember your language preference. We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies.
The Platform is intended for business use and is not directed at individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated where practical.
